There are a few things you can do to create a calm environment in your child's bedroom with as few stressors as possible for children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Choose posters and pictures that bring peace to the children's bedroom. A river or a picture of the tranquil ocean can inspire tranquility.
It is also important to keep the child's bedroom as a sleeping space rather than for other activities as this can cause stress for the child with ADHD.
Create zones and spaces in the bedroom that make it easy to organise, avoiding disorder in the room that can cause stress for the child.
Finally, "split" the child's room into meaningful spaces, in a logical way, to facilitate the organisation and concentration of the child with ADHD.
