It is not easy to persuade children to clean their bedroom. Here are some tips on how to make it easier:
Help them. If we are talking about younger children, it is important to help them to avoid having them give up cleaning their bedroom.
Give directions. We are used to telling children to "clean your room!" but we forget that while they know what a clean room looks like, they don't know how to get to that result. Short and clear instructions will help them.
Assign the right chores to the appropriate ages. Even the youngest children can help by dusting with socks on their hands, while their school children can learn to make their own bed.
